Concentrated Ozone has a short life and dissipates quickly once the generators are disconnected leaving a slight chemical odor which also dissipates in time. Ozone dispersion in the air is influenced by room size, temperature, dust, and pollutants. When treatment is completed, your technician will let you know when it is safe to return, typically 3-4 hours, so you can begin the airing out process. If anyone in the household has odor sensitivities or lung issues, it is advisable that they not reenter the home until the residual chemical odor has dissipated. Due to liability reasons, your technician cannot leave windows or doors open without express written consent.
